On April 14, 2012 the Sunrise Production group will be hosting one of their  series of Youth empowered workshops at the Montserrat Cultural Centre so as to start a forum to inform and build the confidence and the ability of the young persons  on Montserrat.  The intention is to target young men and women through presentations and interactive discussions on the following issues:

• My Swagger            -     Self Esteem - Male/Female self confidence, interaction with peers ( respect for each other and empowerment)
• Can  you see me?   -    Deportment - Appropriate dress, conduct, creating the right impression
• More than a Shell    -    Diet, Personal Care and Healthy Sexual Practices
• Give to get back      -    Career Choices and Contributing to Society.

The aim as stated by the organisers is try to preserve  the culture of Montserratians by empowering the young  men and women to dispay and celebrate their talents and abilities.  Facilitators for the workshop include that of Ms. Deonne Semple, Mr. William O'Brian, Dr. Ingrid Buffonge, and Ms. Loni Howe.
